Hello blog! This week I have continued to take time out of my day for this healthy habit! I created a journaling layout that I believe will work best for my organizational purposes. Each morning I have been creating a to-do list with everything I hope to get done each day. I also created a color coded key that allows me to label each task as done (pink), still need to do (green), and still need to finish/continue working on (purple). Throughout my day, I color each task pink as I complete it. At the end of the day, I label what I have not done yet purple or green. I also write down various positive affirmations for myself throughout the day as well. I have not been following an exact schedule for these because my schedule varies from day to day. At the end of the day I also write down three good things that happened that day!

So far, I have noticed that this layout has been working very well for me! I have noticed that creating my to-do list each morning has been a super productive way to start my day. I have also noticed that my to-do list has also been motivating in a way because it is so rewarding to cross off tasks after you complete them! My to-do list has also been a reminder to stay on track when I forget what I have to do next! Writing down positive affirmations have also been a reminder to stay positive and refresh my mindset throughout the day as well. They also help me stay motivated. Reflecting on three good things that happened each day has allowed me to realize how blessed I am and how much I have to be thankful for. This has also been a reminder that I will be happier if I enjoy the small things in life.

Wednesday's Journal/To-Do List:

One thing that I have found super important to remember is that it is okay to not accomplish everything on your list! It is important to be patient with yourself. The list should serve as a list of goals you have for the day. If you do not finish everything on the list, which is completely normal, you can just write it down again on tomorrow's to-do list! I am going to continue this habit for the rest of the week. Stay tuned for more updates!
