Hello blog!I have been super busy with school work this week but I have still been making sure to eat healthy and drink as much water as possible. I have been experimenting with new foods such as new types of granola bars, new grilled chicken, new smoothies, and new healthier alternatives to everyday foods! I have not comp, tely eliminated sweets from my diet, but I have definitely cut down on them a lot! I honestly haven't been drinking as much water as I intended to, but there is still time to turn that around! Drinking more water will be my main focus for the end of the week!

Even though it has only been a handful of days, I have noticed some changes! I have noticed that in the mornings I have felt a lot less groggy and when I wake up I feel much more well rested. I also feel that I have felt less anxious and stressed. I also realized that a lot of my acne has begun to clear up! When I eat bad, I typically feel guilty or defeated but now that I have been eating much cleaner, I feel that this weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. I feel that I would see much more dramatic results overtime, but I am very happy with the results I am seeing in such a short time frame!

Today, I also went to Starbucks! One important lesson that even I forget to tell myself frequently, is that we have to learn to forgive ourselves! Today I was really craving a refresher from Starbucks and I decided that even though I am eating clean right now I can still get one. It is 100% okay to treat yourself! There is nothing wrong with rewarding yourself for doing your best and working hard in school, at work, or in anything else you are doing. Rewarding yourself can come in many different forms, it could be buying a drink from starbucks, doing a face mask, going to bed early, or hanging out with friends! Doing things that we enjoy help give us balance in our lives. We have to do many things we do not want to do each day, so there should be no shame is doing something that we actually want to do as well!
